#57 Event; Artstar Outlet and ArtrA Launching

It was never an official launching, I made up the whole thing for myself haha. I know I'm cool like that :p

It was part of my own plan for this short holiday to go out and take a look at my brother's newly refurbished clothing store in town for the very first time. They (two of my older brothers; the fourth and the fifth) have been working on this project for quite sometimes. It was all started back in 2010, then becoming more serious later that year when I left for New Zealand to study. From retails online business to alteration services, they came up with a store which provided both; alteration services and a little place to shop for clothing and merchandise.

Honestly I admired and very proud of them with all the effort they put in making all this real. You have no idea how hard they work for this. Everyone in the house seemed restless for the fact that this store has been getting so much attention from our family members. Money, energy, hopes and dreams were put in it.

Today is a very proud moment for me. To see everything in place, nicely put and arranged with a very pleasant deco and furniture, everything start to feel right. I can sense the worth of all the struggle and risk they took in making this store a reality. They both had taught me to reach out for my dreams, never give up and have faith on small steps. They make me; believe.

The store isn't so big and there still is plenty of room for clothes and merchandise but at least, they have something to start. Maybe as time proceed, more things will fill up the empty spaces. They or more to us (as I am part of them, my family) also working on our own brand which already start selling in November last year goes by the name; ArtA. So then what is Artstar Outlet? That is the store's name, playing the role of headquarter in controlling all the related selling and shopping clothing and merchandise coming from our store.

Here is my favorite part; the brand itself. Probably some readers already know for the fact that menswear is one of my interest other than books, traveling, reading and running. I'm very blessed to have this; an awesome two brothers who share the same fascination. The idea of the brand was inspired through the local setback of Malaysian in menswear define by arts. Arts and menswear, the two biggest influences on myself, and through observation of the current trends we approach our customers with street wear, looking good whilst feeling comfortable. What more to ask from me? I approved the concept, the vision, the goals, and the brand, totally.

So, dear readers, please please please pray for our success. With all the possible blessing we need, may Allah ease everything and lead us to the right way; finding what is halal to keep going with our business. This store resembles life that build up a whole lot of hopes and dreams for each one of our family members. Therefore, wish us luck!
